I applied for the DSF Scholarship but will be enrolled in the ASCENT Program this upcoming school year. Can I defer my DSF Scholarship?

While you are enrolled in the ASCENT Program, you are considered as not having graduated high school yet (until you complete ASCENT).  Therefore, since high school graduation is a DSF requirement, you will not become a DSF Finalist for the 2019-20 academic year. In other words, your years of DSF eligibility will not start until you complete ASCENT and are officially a DPS graduate.

HOWEVER, when you officially graduate high school after completing the ASCENT program, you should apply for DSF as a New Applicant.  You will need to complete all of the DSF requirements to become a DSF Finalist and qualify for a scholarship award.
